The girls are turning eight this month. Eight years. Really? Where does the time go?

I saw them this morning

Girls asleep

and my heart melted. How cute and cuddly they look. It reminds me when they were so little we could keep them away from our dogs in a little storage container together (We really did that!).

I’m searching for that photo just to prove how crazy we were back in those days.

Here’s one that shows how ornery they were when they were about 8 months old.

Psalm 139: 13-16 comes to mind again today.

For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.

My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.

Your eyes saw my unformed body;
all the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be.
