Can I deal with “normal”?

Yesterday I wrapped up my very first CASA case. There wasn’t any fanfare. No fireworks, no balloons, no music.

There was relief in the family. There was happiness in those involved in the case through the court system. The case ended relatively quickly and it ended well (comparatively speaking).

I know this wasn’t a “normal” CASA case. This was a cakewalk compared to most that come through.

The celebration in my head ended quickly. I found out I got another case. I wasn’t surprised I received one so quickly. It sounds like the numbers of cases coming in to the system are skyrocketing above past years.

This one promises not to be as easy, and I’m worried. Can I deal with a “normal” CASA case?
