Our moving adventure begins today!
We’ll head to the rental this weekend which will give me a week to clean up our old house before we sell it on March 25. If all goes well, we’ll be moving into the new house mid-April.
Although I was bummed with the idea of moving twice, things seem to be going okay. The girls are excited, we’ll be in Manhattan through swimming lessons and we will have a little more than a month of driving in every morning for school.
If you can’t tell, I’ve been keeping my eyes peeled for the silver lining, and a blog post from Michael Hyatt yesterday hit home. Although my “adversity” isn’t as tough as some Michael mentions (illness and divorce), it was a good reminder…I don’t have to be in control of this. I can give it over to God and trust I’m in good hands.
PS. My mommy’s been here for over a week, and how nice it is! How old do you get before having your mom around in tough times isn’t awesome?
