It’s been way too long since my last post. Life seems to be taking over these days.
On the house front, we’ve got a contract signed for our dream of country living. We’re so lucky. The woman selling the house is as honest and hardworking as they come, and she’s being a trooper. The contract says we have 90 days to sell our house which ends up being mid-April. Our home is on the market and we’re trudging along. We had one showing last night. I’m hoping the nice, warm weather will get people out and looking.
Eyeballed the calendar and life is about to start moving at full speed. I begin CASA training next month, the girls start swimming lessons, my graduate class will be about half done and we’ve started planning for the 9th annual Bag Lady Luncheon that supports our local emergency shelter.
So, I think I’ll thank God for all the wonderful things in my life right now. A wonderful opportunity, a great learning experience (buying and selling a house), practicing patience and keeping my sanity through it all. I also thank Him for the wonderful people in our lives. We’ve had lots of feedback and support from family and friends, and as I work on these upcoming projects for the community, I’m just amazed at the willingness and know-how people have.
Hugs and love.
