What do they say are the most stressful times in a person’s life? Marriage, divorce, new job, moving? I can vouch that buying and selling a house rank right up there.
We’ve got a contract on a cute farmhouse in the country. We’ve also got 90 days to sell our house. It’s going on the market today so the countdown begins.
We’ve got so many balls up in the air right now. The serenity prayer keeps replaying in my head.
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
I think I need to print that out and tape it all around me.
I’ve put up my sewing machine so the house shows nicely and isn’t cluttered by my tools. I just keep dreaming about having a true sewing room nestled upstairs in the farmhouse.
